Applications being accepted for Harney County’s Community Service Firewood Donation Program

BURNS – (Press Release from the Harney County Circuit Court)

Harney County Circuit Court and Harney County Community Corrections are now accepting applications for the Community Service Firewood Donation Program. Under this program, individuals sentenced to community service may donate firewood as part of fulfilling their service hours. Eligible recipients may include:

• Seniors
• People with disabilities
• Individuals who qualify for energy assistance through the Senior Center or other official agency

Please note: Deliveries are made by individuals completing community service and are not supervised. Applicants must agree to have their contact information shared with the person making the delivery.
