Oregon Circuit Court announces upcoming schedule changes for Harney County and statewide staff training

HARNEY COUNTY-The Oregon Circuit Court system has announced temporary operational updates affecting local court services in Harney County, alongside an upcoming full-day statewide closure scheduled for next month.
On Friday, September 11, the public service window at the Harney County Circuit Court will close early at 12:00 p.m. Court proceedings scheduled for that afternoon, including 1:00 p.m. arraignments, will move to a remote format.
Court officials emphasized that despite the public window closure, court staff will remain available by phone throughout the afternoon to assist with urgent legal matters and inquiries.
Looking ahead, all Oregon Circuit Courts statewide will be closed all day on Wednesday, October 21, to accommodate mandatory staff training.
Standard operating hours and full in-person services for both Harney County and circuit courts statewide will resume as normal on the business day immediately following each scheduled change.
