Plans are already in the works for 2027 Umatilla County Fair

UMATILLA COUNTY – Umatilla County Board of Commissioners Chairman Dan Dorran says it’s clear that the 2026 Umatilla County Fair was a success, even though the final numbers for the livestock auction are not ready to announce.

He added that every year, the fair officials and volunteers come away with ideas for the next year. He noticed that parking was a challenge, and a plan is in the works to remedy that.

“I think we will have at least three more acres up to six acres of additional parking next year which will make that even better,” Dorran said.

He added that the shuttle service also needs to grow.

“That will get expanded to more downtown and the hotels and locations for pickups and drop-offs,” he said. The Umatilla County Fair will be held Aug. 11-14, 2027.
