JOHN DAY – Another KJDY Kid’s Day Parade is in the books. Part of the Grant Co. Fair, the parade has been in existence for decades with some former participants now bringing their kids for the fun event. Over twenty kids participated this year along with their parents. Hildie and Cora the camels brought up the rear of the procession. Kids were treated to free homemade popsicles courtesy of Fire & Ice Cream. Free face painting was provided by Sophia McKinley.
A big thank you to Fire & Ice Cream, the Grant Co. Sheriff’s Office, the City of John Day, First
Community Credit Union, and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church for their help in making
it a success.
