UMATILLA & UNION COUNTIES —(Press release from the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office) August 9, 2026 at 09:00 a.m.
A Joint Emergency Operation Center including Umatilla County Sheriffโs Office, Umatilla County Emergency Management, Union County Sheriffโs Office, Union County Emergency Management and Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) remain actively engaged with the Incident Management Team for Hagen Fire.
Evacuation Levels are increased on the HAGEN FIRE as the Incident Management Team has reported the fire has crossed over and established north of the North Fork of the Umatilla.
Effectively immediately evacuation levels have been elevated in these areas of Umatilla County:
UMATILLA COUNTY

LEVEL 3 โ GO NOW
Evacuation Zones:
UMC – 121-B
UMC – 121-A
UMC – 157
UMC – 243 UMC – 153
NEW INCREASE: LEVEL 3 โ GO NOW includes the areas north and south of Highway 204 between Bob White Lane and Lincton Mountain Road. Including:
Residents in LEVEL 3 areas should leave immediately. Imminent danger in the area. Leave without delay. It is unsafe to stay.

Evacuation Levels have not changed in Union County. All previously issued levels in Union County remain the same.

ROAD CLOSURES
Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has also issued a ROAD CLOSURE for HIGHWAY 204 between Weston and Elgin, milepost 0 to 39, due to wildfire.
