UMATILLA COUNTY – The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office and Umatilla County Emergency Operation Center in cooperation with the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) and Northwest Incident Management Team 7, has issued the following immediate evacuation notices for the Hagen Fire, about nine miles southwest of Tollgate.
The Level 3 “Go Now” evacuation area has expanded to the north side of Bingham Road west to Meacham Creek Road, which also includes to the 32 road, including the Umatilla River Corridor and Hagen Creek.
The Level 2 “Be Set” evacuation area is expanded west on Bingham Road between Meacham Creek and Iskuulpa Creek to include Gibbon.
The Level 1 “Be Ready” evacuation area extends west on Bingham Road from Iskuulpa Creek to Buckaroo.
As of Wednesday morning, the Hagen Fire is 7,419 acres. The fire is actively burning and, in the last report from the incident management team, has requested a hotshot crew and extensive helicopter support near residences on the western perimeter near Bingham Road. Structure protection measures remain in place.
