Ontario camp trailer fire under investigation

ONTARIO — A camp trailer was lost in a fire early Thursday morning in Ontario. Luckily, no injuries were reported. Ontario Fire & Rescue report that crews were dispatched to the 1000 block of SE 10th Avenue on July 9th at approximately 3:19 a.m. The call came in regarding “…a camp trailer on fire, with possible propane tank involvement.”
OFR stated, “Engine 103 arrived to find a 30’ camp trailer fully involved and fire spreading through nearby grass. Engine 103’s crew was able to stop the fire spread and extinguish the camp trailer. Rescue 1 (crew of 2) provided coverage for additional calls during the incident. A fire break installed and maintained by Jacobs (Ontario Public Works) kept the fire from spreading into a nearby grassy field.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Ontario Police Department and Treasure Valley Paramedics provided assistance at the scene.
