PENDLETON – Eastern Oregon Recovery Center has said that they will be are ceasing services.
Executive Director Amica Bryant said the decision came from the organization’s board of directors, and that they will begin the closing process of the agency.
The organization operated an in-patient substance abuse treatment center in Pendleton as well as transitional housing facilities. They previously operated Umatilla County’s detox center until commissioners terminated the lease in September after learning it had not been operating since April of that year.
In a May article Bryant outlined the difficulties EORC was facing, but expressed optimism that they could continue to move forward.
