UPDATE 9:28 PM: The evacuation levels have been downgraded to Level One, Be Ready, as the fire is moving more south with no structures threatened, according to CTUIR.
The evacuation center at Nixyaawii Community School is being closed. They say anyone with needs can call Umatilla Tribal Police.
Bingham Road has reopened to local traffic only.
MISSION – A wildfire burning on the Umatilla Indian Reservation has triggered Level 3, Go Now evacuations from the Buckaroo Lane area to Iskuulpa.
Bingham Road has also been closed. The fire started burning Saturday afternoon and no reported cause has been given.
Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation says air support has been called in to assist fire crews. CTUIR reported that 128 acres have been burned.
Nixyaawii Community School has been opened for evacuees. Pendleton Mustangers on Mustang Lane along Mission Highway has room for horses.
