UNION COUNTY – During a regular meeting on Wednesday, June 25, the Union County Board of Commissioners officially approved Fourteen separate grant applications, split between Title III funding and transient room tax funding, totaling $228,087 dollars.
All seven Title III grants, totaling $186,357, were requested by Union County Emergency Services, four for Union County Search and Rescue, and three for Emergency Services generally. These are:
Transient room tax grants totaled $41,730 dollars (out of an available pool of $51,000 dollars) and were requested by seven different arts and commerce organizations. These include:
