Fox Fire southwest of Long Creek is 29.61 acres on Friday

LONG CREEK / FOX – UPDATE (6/16 @ 11:00 a.m.): The fire is now listed as fully contained at 29.61 acres.

PREVIOUS: Firefighting resources are on the scene of the Fox Fire, burning west of the town of Fox and southwest of Long Creek. The blaze was first reported just after 2 p.m. on Thursday. At last update the fire was estimated at 29.61 acres.

Grant County Emergency Management reported Thursday evening, “The Fox fire is in a remote area SE of Hamilton Mt. and several miles SW of Long Creek near the western edge of Fox Valley. Ground and air resources have responded. The fire was recently updated to be about 29 acres.”
