Volunteers sought for Baker City Downtown Cleanup Day, June 7th

BAKER CITY — This Sunday, June 7^th, the Baker City Downtown organization will be holding a “Downtown Cleanup Day.” Volunteers are invited to meet at Old Post Office Square on the corner of Auburn & Main St in Baker City beginning at 8:00 a.m. on June 7^th. Helpers are asked to bring gloves and other helpful items such as weed pulling tools, push brooms, and leaf blowers.

Work will be focused on street cleanup efforts, weeding tree wells, and deadheading flower baskets.

Refreshments will be available for volunteers. Work is expected to wrap up around 10 a.m.
