Watering restrictions begin for the City of Sumpter

SUMPTER — The City of Sumpter has announced outdoor watering restrictions have gone into effect as of June 3rd.
City officials note that residents with an even house number are welcome to water plants within the regulations on even-numbered calendar days. It’s the same for those with odd house numbers and odd-numbered calendar days.
Each day, morning watering is allowed to take place between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m., and evening watering can happen between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m.
City officials thanked community members “…for following these guidelines to help our community stay water wise during the summer months!”
