UMATILLA COUNTY – The Oregon State Police reports that the driver of a red Ford flatbed truck was injured Tuesday afternoon when the vehicle collided with a tree that was off State Route 244 at milepost 23.
The responding trooper said the Union County Sheriff’s Office assisted in prying open the driver’s side door to free the driver. Teresa L. Lynch, 64, of Ukiah was taken by medical first responders to a nearby Life Flight helicopter.
OSP did not release any information regarding the extent of the injuries or the cause of the crash. The trooper did report a citation was issued to Lynch.
