Harney County resident arrested and charged with multiple charges

HINES(Released by Hines Police Department)-On the morning of Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Hines Police Department responded to Buck Brush Lane in Hines Oregon for a disturbance call.

During the conclusion on the investigation, 50-year-old Harney County resident Kreg Breshears was arrested for Attempted Assault II, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing with a Firearm, Point a Firearm at Another and Harassments. Breshears is lodged at the Harney County Jail pending charges.

This investigation was led by the Hines Police Department and Oregon State Police.
