Thirteen Union County swimmers are headed to Oregon state swimming championships tomorrow

UNION COUNTY — The 2026 OSAA State Swimming Championships begin this Friday, February 20 at the Tualatin Hills Aquatic Center in Beaverton. This year representing eastern Oregon there are 13 young swimmers from La Grande and Cove School Districts. On the roster for state are:
La Grande Girls
- Hannah Zamora (Senior)
- Parker Baum (Sophomore)
- Jane Zastrow (Junior)
- Isabel Fenley (Freshman)
- Rinnah Lynch (Junior)
- Aspen Roe (Freshmen)
La Grande Boys
- Ephraim Moyal
- Dominic Wheeler
Cove Girls
- Iliza Pettit (Sophomore)
- Becca Koza (Senior)
- Kenzy Spence (Junior)
- Amelia Koza (Freshman)
- Sofia Garcia (Junior)
The first session begins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, and the second 8:15 a.m. on Saturday. Good luck to all youth athletes!
