MILTON-FREEWATER – Mayor Mike Odman will deliver the inaugural 2026 State of the City Address on Feb. 24, marking a historic first for the community.

The event, themed “A Tale of Two Cities: Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future,” is scheduled to take place from 6-8 p.m. at the McLoughlin High School Auditorium, located at 120 South Main Street.

The address comes as the city celebrates its 75th anniversary. According to event organizers, the presentation will focus on reflecting on the city’s heritage while outlining a vision for its upcoming development and growth.

The city has announced that the event is open to the public, and no RSVP is required for attendance. Following the mayor’s remarks, light refreshments will be served in the high school cafeteria.
