BAKER COUNTY – Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort is getting closer to its goal of building a brand-new youth center and repair shop. In a recent update, the resort shared it has now raised a total of $600,000 dollars in roughly two months, $400,000 from various foundation and government grants, and $200,000 raised from donations as part of the Mountain of Difference campaign, writing:
“We’re almost halfway there, and it’s all thanks to folks who have generously shown their love for Anthony Lakes.’
Announced near the end of November 2025, the goal is to raise 1.5 million dollars to rebuild the resort’s venerable but aging rental and repair shop building and construct a brand-new youth center to accommodate for the increasing number of young skiers and snowboarders learning the ropes. The goal is to have the new facilities online by winter 2026-27.
