OTEC Scholarships open through March 1st for Eastern Oregon students

EASTERN OREGON – A reminder to any Eastern Oregon students interested in post-high school education (trades or academic) the Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC) has various scholarships open now through March 1st, 2026. Open scholarships include:

2026 OTEC Returning College Student or Adult Scholarship

• This is a $5,000 dollar scholarship available for returning college students or adults attending college for the first time, with funds intended to cover undergraduate studies. 

2026 OTEC Graduating High School Student Scholarship

• This is a $5,000 dollar scholarship available to graduating high school students interested in attending an accredited college or university in the United States as full time students. This scholarship is available to homeschooled students as well. 

2026 OTEC-EOU Rural Scholarship Program

• This scholarship is specifically available for up to 4 students planning to attend Eastern Oregon University and will cover full four-year tuition costs. Note that applicants must have completed the OTEC Internship Program to be eligible. 

Note that in all instances, applicants must be an OTEC member-owner, the spouse/legal dependent of a member-owner, or the lessee of an active member-owner.
