Driver shortage forces Dixie School District to halt key bus services

DIXIE – The Dixie School District has suspended transportation services for Lewis Peak, Mud Creek, and Waitsburg after a bus driver resigned.
Despite search efforts, no replacements or substitute drivers are available from neighboring districts. Parents must arrange their own transportation.
The district anticipates this challenge will be temporary and appreciates the community’s understanding.
