WALLOWA COUNTY — The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) is allowing more time for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients in Wallowa County to ask for replacement benefits if they lost food due to recent power outages caused by storms.
The deadline is extended for 30 days for anyone who lost food due to the power outages on Dec. 17, meaning they have until Jan. 16 to report food losses and request the replacement benefits.
Food losses typically need to be reported within 10 days. Contact ODHS for information on how to apply, or login to you ONE Online account.
