WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla City Council will meet tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6:30 p.m.
The agenda includes approving the sole source purchase of a handheld chemical detection system. This allows for safer and smaller sample testing of unknown chemicals by law enforcement. The system costs $81,470 and has been approved by the opioid settlement grant as fully reimbursable.
The council will also adopt the six-year capital facilities plan and amend the 2025-2026 biennial budget.
The city council meeting will be held in council chambers at Walla Walla City Hall, 15 N. Third Ave., and will be available for viewing on the city’s website.
