Red Cross opens shelter in Richland to assist with flood victims

RICHLAND – The Red Cross has opened a shelter in Richland to assist those affected by the flooding in Washington.

On Thursday Red Cross opened a shelter in Cashmere due to rising water on the Wenatchee River. Friday they extended that to Richland to help with those affected by rising water on the Yakima River.

Anyone affected by the flooding is welcome to stop by a shelter for information, a hot meal, charge their phone, and get other essential support.
