PRESCOTT – The Prescott School District sent a memo out to students and parents outlining procedures when winter weather impacts the area.

The announcement says the superintendent, with the assistance of the district’s transportation director, will make the decision by 5 a.m. on days with impactful winter weather of what type of schedule the school will have:

  • Regular schedule
  • 2-hour delay
  • 3-hour delay
  • School closed for the day
  • Snow routes only

Both students and bus drivers will have access to the snow route list.

It also notes that on days with a delayed schedule there will be no Seatech bus. On days when school is cancelled there will be no activities.

If no notification is sent out by 6 a.m. then Prescott schools will be running on a regular schedule.

Any weather announcements will be posted on the school’s website, Facebook, or on its app.

Elkhorn Media Group will also have any closures or delays posted on our website and Facebook, as well as on-air through our stations and Elkhorn Mobile App stream.
