Malheur National Forest to undergo pile burning through Nov. 28th

GRANT COUNTY – John Day Interagency Dispatch reports that fire officials will be conducting prescribed burning operations today, November 24^th. The Blue Mountain Ranger District will be treating around 200 acres in the Magone Pile unit.

Ignitions are planned for November 24^th through the 28^th. AS always, prescribed burning operations are dependent on weather conditions and smoke management capabilities. After ignitions are complete, smoke will be visible for a several days.
