This project is funded by the state’s Climate Commitment Act and federal Inflation Reduction Act reimbursements.

Public Works Director Ki Bealey states construction has just begun.

The city received a $2.5 million grant for this project.

The plant was chosen for its high power needs, available space, and the benefit reducing power costs provides to all water customers.
