Walla Walla County deputy lauded for saving a man

WALLA WALLA – Deputy Lauren Parks of the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office received a life-saving award for her quick actions on Oct. 19.

Responding to a midnight overdose call in Burbank, Parks was the first one on the scene. She found a man unconscious, administered Narcan, and performed CPR chest compressions for almost two minutes until medics arrived.

As a result of Deputy Parks’ actions, the man was successfully revived.
