Woman charged with stealing $40K or more from Baker City business

BAKER CITY — A plea hearing will be held in Baker County Circuit Court next month for a woman who is facing four separate felony charges of Aggravated Theft in the First Degree in connection with a local bakery.

Tana Jo Molina, 51, was arrested by the Baker City Police Department on October 3^rd, 2025 and has been charged with four counts of Aggravated Theft in the First Degree following an arraignment held on October 6^th. While the exact figures have not been disclosed, a Secret Indictment filed September 25^th shows that Molina is accused of stealing $40,000 or more from Sweet Wife Baking in Baker City. The thefts allegedly took place between August 12^th, 2023, and May 21^st, 2025.

Molina is scheduled to enter a plea on November 3^rd, 2025 in Baker County Circuit Court.
