(Statement from Baker County Sage-grouse LIT)
“Please join us in congratulating Madison Di Lorenzo on her new role as Executive Director of the Powder Basin Watershed Council (PBWC)!
Madison first joined PBWC in January 2023 as the Watershed Restoration Coordinator, bringing with her a deep passion for the natural world and community-based conservation. Originally from Utah, Madison grew up exploring red-rock canyons and later fell in love with Oregon’s misty mountain landscapes. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Oregon State University, with a focus on environmental water resources, and has worked with several watershed councils and the Willamette National Forest on restoration and monitoring projects.
Madison’s enthusiasm for collaboration, watershed health, and innovative restoration solutions has been a driving force for PBWC’s success. We’re thrilled to see her continue leading this important work in her new role!”
