OLYMPIA – The public can give input on hunting season planning as the Washington
Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) starts a three-year season setting
process. Feedback will help game managers create proposals for the 2027-2029
hunting seasons.
Suggestions can be made about specific game species, permits, access, or game
management through WDFW’s scoping survey. This open scoping period runs until Oct.
31.
The public may submit comments online through WDFW’s public scoping survey,
by email, or by calling 855-925-2801 and entering code 11994. Written comments may
also be mailed to Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife – Wildlife Program, P.O.
