PENDLETON – Pendleton Police Chief Chuck Byram says the owners of Cadillac Jack’s are working hand in hand with the police department to ensure its customers are in a safe environment following a shooting early this morning (Friday) in the bar’s parking lot.
Byram said that spirit of cooperation between the business and law enforcement was already in place, with the Enhanced Enforcement Patrol arriving at closing at 2 a.m. to provide a police presence. In light of the incident in the parking lot, the saloon has now altered its hours.
“Cadillac Jack’s will shut the music down at midnight and ask its customers to leave by 1 a.m.,” Byram said.
Altercations in the parking lot after the bar closed at 2 a.m. led to a shooting injuring one person and resulting in the arrest of another man. The details are posted at https://elkhornmediagroup.com/one-injured-one-in-custody-following-shooting-in-pendleton/.
