Union County CARE Thanks Soroptimist International of La Grande for Supporting Youth Swim Access

LA GRANDE- Union County CARE proudly recognizes Soroptimist International of La Grande for their generous contribution that helped dozens of Union County children access to the Elgin Community Swimming Pool this summer.
With the rising need for healthy, safe, and engaging summer activities, Soroptimist International of La Grande stepped up to make a difference. Their support funded swim passes for children across the county—providing opportunities for swimming lessons, pool play, and physical activity.
“Thanks to the Soroptimists, kids are spending their summer making cannonballs and learning new skills in the water instead of sitting on the couch,” said Sherlyn Roberts, Union County CARE. “It’s support like this that makes real change in our community.”
Union County CARE is proud to partner with organizations like Soroptimist International of La Grande that invest in the health, safety, and well-being of local youth.
