Celebrating Life

Robert Allen Fuller, 95, of Baker City, Oregon, passed away on June 17th, 2025, at his residence. A graveside service with military honors to honor Robertโ€™s life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Baker City, Oregon. Robert was born March 20th, 1930, in Walla Walla, Washington, to Granville Fuller and Laura (Shoun) Fuller. During his younger years Robert attended Baker High School until 11th grade after which he joined the United States Army, he would dutifully serve his country for three years until March 2nd, 1950. Robert would later marry the love of his life Verda Darlene Buxton and together they had four sons, James, Richard, Robert and Larry. Robert especially loved to spend his free time in the outdoors. His favorite activities typically included hunting, fishing and camping. He was also a long-time member of the Veteranโ€™s Eagles Club. Robertโ€™s long life was filled with many achievements such as assisting with the construction of the Bell Telephone network, becoming a skilled commercial welder, and working for Ellingson Lumber Company in Baker City, Oregon. Robert is survived by his four children, James Fuller (Betty) of Baker City, Oregon, Richard Fuller (Roxann) of Irrigon, Oregon, Robert Fuller (Tammera) of Springfield, Oregon, and Larry Fuller of Clarkson, Washington, along with 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
