I-84 Rollover sends one driver to the hospital

UMATILLA COUNTY – A rollover crash on Interstate 84 near Stanfield sent one driver to the hospital on Monday.

The Oregon State Police says that a Ford Fusion and a Kia Sol were traveling westbound near mile marker 185 when the Ford swerved, striking the Kia. The Kia was forced off the roadway and came to rest in a field. The Ford rolled several times, coming to a rest on its wheels.

The driver of the Ford, a 29-year-old Hermiston woman, was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital for minor injuries and was cited for failure to drive within lane. Both cars sustained enough damage to be towed away from the scene.
