Baker County Sheriff’s Office welcomes new corrections deputy

BAKER CITY — The Baker County Sheriff’s Office recently welcomed a new Corrections Deputy. The department took to Facebook to publicly congratulate Geane Lutz in her move up to Corrections.
BCSO reports that, “Originally joining the Sheriff’s Office in January 2025 as a Control Board Technician, she was recently chosen to fulfill the role of Corrections Deputy.”
