La Grande Firefighter Cody Silani honored

LA GRANDE – (Release from La Grande Fire Department) FF Silani has been honored with not one, but TWO awards for his incredible dependability and dedication to our department and community! He was selected to receive an Employee Recognition Award for the fourth quarter of 2024 (awarded in January) and was also recognized as the recipient of “Demonstration of Dependability” at our annual City of La Grande Employee Banquet. Although he was likely out on one of his legendary outdoor adventures during the banquet, City Manager Strope personally delivered his second award yesterday.
