Trial set for Walla Walla man accused rape and molestation of a child

WALLA WALLA – Trial has been set for March 24, 2025, for Andrew James Sutherland of Walla Walla. He was arrested Dec. 6 and is currently charged with first-degree rape of a child and first-degree child molestation. The charges are related to incidents that occurred several years ago.

The Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office has reason to believe Sutherland may have additional victims who have not yet been identified by law enforcement. The investigation is continuing.
