BAKER CITY — It was a community-wide effort that brought smiles to young faces in the Shop with a Cop event held in Baker City on Friday, December 13th.

Baker City Police report that members of Oregon State Police, the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, BCPD’s Citizens on Patrol group, and the Powder River Correctional Facility showed up and helped Baker County youth go shopping for gifts on their list.

BCPD took to social media to publicly thank “…the Nazarene Church for donating their facility, Blue Mountain Baptist for lunch, FFA and National Honors Society for their time, Coffee Corral for hot chocolate, and D&B. We also want to thank the members of our community who donated.”
