Imbler Education Foundation Receives $25,000 Grant to Support the Imbler Community Track Facility

IMBLER – The U.S. Bank Foundation recently announced it had provided a $25,000 grant toward the Imbler Education Foundation’s Track and Field Community Project. Posing with the big check (right most photo) from left to right include:

Imbler Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization that focuses on enhancing the quality of education for students in the Imbler School District today announced it has received a $25,000 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation. The grant will be used to help pay for a new track and field facility with energy efficient lights to help support student athletes and improve the community’s overall health and wellbeing.
“Small schools are home to many talented athletes, but without proper facilities, it’s hard to help them reach their full potential. Building equitable opportunities for our community takes resources, and we’re grateful for the support of the U.S. Bank Foundation. Their contribution is helping us bring this new track facility to life,” said Russ West, director of Imbler Education Foundation.
The Imbler Education Foundation aims to raise $1.2 million to cover the costs of the Imbler Community Track Facility. Thus far, they have raised over $950,00 in cash donations and pledges, in kind donations, fundraisers, grants, and school district commitments. Imbler Education Foundation has completed the construction of the track base and field lighting and is now focused on acquiring field equipment and spectator amenities to complete the project.
