LA GRANDE – Douglas Wayne Piggott of La Grande, the man who robbed a local convenience store at gunpoint in August has been sentenced to 70 months in prison
According to court documents, Piggott was found guilty this week on charges of Robbery in the First Degree. Incarceration notes show that Piggott was sentenced to the custody of Oregon Dept. of Corrections, for period of 70 month(s). Piggott may receive credit for time served. In addition, Pigott is ordered to pay restitution of $373.81.
