LA GRANDE – The final La Grande Community Blood Draw of the year has come and gone. Linda and Sheldon Strand, La Grande’s Community Blood Draw coordinators, report that the final draw brought in 259 units of blood. In addition, the La Grande community donated a total of 1295 units of blood. In the year end announcement, the Strand’s wrote, “Each of you can be proud of the effort you put into this endeavor. Thanks again for your support!”
Community blood draws will return in January 2025. For anyone curious about donating following the new year, the upcoming La Grande blood draws are as follows:
