Ritzville woman arrested in Baker County on DUII and Reckless Endangering changes

BAKER COUNTY – Devon Rae Murray (33) of Ritzville Washington was arrested by the Oregon State Police (OSP) following a traffic stop in Baker County on Friday, November 15. The traffic stop occurred at around 9:30 p.m. along I-84 Eastbound near Milepost 296. There were two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop, an adult male, and a juvenile female. The full description of the arrest, as provided in a recent OSP press log, is as follows:

“On the above-mentioned date and time, a Trooper observed a vehicle near MP 296 on 1-84 EB speeding. A traffic stop was conducted in the same area and indicators of impairment were observed when speaking with the driver. The driver consented to SFST’s where additional indicators were observed.

The driver resisted arrest and was subsequently taken into custody. The female was cleared at the hospital and refused a breath sample. A SW was granted, and a blood sample was obtained. The driver was lodged at the Baker County Jail on the listed crimes. The vehicle was 780 impounded by Baker Valley Towing and the passengers were provided a ride to a local motel. DHS was notified due to a juvenile passenger.”

  • Obstructing Governmental Administration
  • Refuse to Take a Breath Test
  • Fail to Carry a Valid Registration Card
  • Exceeding Speed Limit – Interstate – 70 Zone 1-10 MPH
