ONTARIO – Statistics show that one out of every three families struggle to afford essential items for their babies, like diapers, wipes, formula, and more. A group of community partners out of Malheur County called Family Advocates for Community Encouragement (FACE) of Malheur County and Beyond have taken it on themselves to collect donations for babies in need in the Ontario, Nyssa, and Vale areas, as well as Payette and Fruitland in Idaho.

The group reports that all proceeds will be donated to disadvantaged families in the region. Items sought include gently used diaper bags, diaper rash cream, and of course diapers, wipes, and formula.

Donations are accepted at Les Schwab in Vale, Nyssa, and Ontario through December 1st.
