Ontario Police warn citizens of prop currency

ONTARIO- (Release from Ontario Police Department) Attention Local Businesses, Ontario Police has received multiple reports recently involving prop currency being passed. At first glance, these bills appear to be real. It is common for these bills to be intentionally crumbled up, soaked, or torn to appear that they have been in circulation. Some bills may also have a coating on them to prevent the ink from a currency marker contacting the paper. These bills will contain writing which identifies them as prop money for entertainment purposes only. Please take a moment to inspect bills before accepting them as payment.
