Woman arrested for attempting to introduce contraband into penitentiary

WALLA WALLA – Kaycee O’Halloran, 22, of Mountlake Terrace was arrested Oct. 21 for attempting to introduce over 100 suboxone strips into the Washington State Penitentiary.

The introduction of contraband was originally learned by an investigation by prison staff.

The Walla Walla Regional Drug Gang Task Force was called in and took O’Halloran into custody. She was booked into Walla Walla County Jail on one count of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Investigators said O’Halloran was under the impression that she would receive money if the transfer of contraband was successful.

The Walla Walla Regional Drug Gang Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional team which consists of detectives from the Walla Walla Police Department, College Place Police Department, Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office, and Washington State Department of Corrections. The investigation is ongoing.
