Sentencing set for alleged child sex abuser

WALLA WALLA – Sentencing for a Walla Walla man who pleaded guilty to child sex crimes is set for Dec. 9 in Walla Walla County Superior Court.

Jesse Cantu DeLarosa, 58, has pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree child molestation, two counts of indecent exposure, and one count of intimidating a witness.

The alleged child sex crimes occurred between 2004 and 2017 in Walla Walla County.

His wife, Tamara Lynette DeLarosa, 55, has pleaded guilty to tampering with a witness. Her sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 28.

In the summer of 2022, the DeLarosas were arrested in Brownsville, Texas, and were extradited back to Walla Walla County where they had lengthy court proceedings and violated their pretrial release.
