JOHN DAY – UPDATE (10/26): Hannah Pereira has been located, according to Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley. The Sheriff informed our newsroom on October 26th that Pereira was located in Multnomah County, and is in custody on her outstanding warrants.

PREVIOUSLY RELEASED: Our newsroom has been in contact with family members of a John Day woman who has not been seen or heard from since late-August of this year. According to Sheriff Todd McKinley, Hannah Pereira has been reported as missing, but cannot be entered as a missing person since she has multiple, active warrants for her arrest.
Hannah Pereira’s sister, Brooklynne, says she is, “…concerned that someone may have hurt her or that she has gotten hurt,” and that, “she has not reached out to anyone she normally would reach out to.”
Brooklynne says she just wants to know that her sister Hannah is alive, and wants her to contact family as soon as possible.
According to information from the Grant County Circuit Court, Pereira has three cases with active warrants, and she failed to appear for court on September 16th. Two of the warrants are for C Felony charges, which means that if she is arrested or picked up by police in Oregon or an adjacent state, she would be transported back to Grant County.
Anyone who has seen or been in contact with Hannah is encouraged to either contact dispatch at (541) 575-0195 or inform her to contact her family immediately.
