Walla Walla police chase and arrest stolen vehicle suspect

WALLA WALLA – A stolen vehicle suspect was arrested Monday morning following a pursuit in Walla Walla. The driver, later identified as Cameron Tyler Hulsey, 23, failed to yield when Walla Walla police attempted to stop him, which led to the pursuit.
Officers terminated the pursuit when it approached a nearby school on Alder Street and Wilbur Street. A short time later, Hulsey abandoned the vehicle near Pleasant Street and Fern Avenue.
Hulsey was apprehended after officers established a perimeter and was arrested on multiple charges, including attempting to elude a police vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance.
