WALLA WALLA – The Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office has a new K9. Deputy Jack is a 2-year-old Dutch shepherd direct from Holland.
He will be utilized for the search of an area, building and evidence searches, tracking and other patrol dog needs.
This summer, K9 Jack and Deputy Ashley Daschofsky completed eight weeks of training in Southern California. They are now working towards obtaining additional certifications.
K9 Jack is Deputy Daschofsky’s second K9, following the retirement of K9 Murphy earlier this year, and is the first Dutch shepherd in the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office’s K9 program.
