Royalty wanted for Umatilla County Fair

UMATILLA COUNTY – The Umatilla County Fair is now accepting applications to serve on the 2025 fair court. The deadline for submissions is 10 a.m. Oct. 21.
All girls in ninth through 12th grades and who reside and attend school in Umatilla County are invited to apply. Applications are available at the fair office and on its website, https://www.umatillacountyfair.net/. There are both printable PDF applications as well as a form that can be filled out online.
The involvement of the court is not only during fair week in August. The young ladies attend parades and many other events throughout the region to promote the fair in other communities. The members of the court learn leadership skills, responsibility, and how to represent themselves and their county with dignity and pride.
Those who choose to fill out the printable application packet should then email it to fair@umatillacounty.gov. If an applicant doesn’t receive an email confirmation within 24 hours, she should call the fair office to verify receipt. The number is 541-567-6121.
